How to fix Memory Card Write Protection Error

One of the frequent question asked in our tech community is  ” how to fix Memory Card write Protection Error ? ” . Well , here  we are explaining some methods for solving the issue

Method 1  :

Some  micro sd cards have a sliding lock tab That can enable write protection.

Just slide that switch for removing write protection.

Method 2 :

Format using some third party software is a good fix.

1) HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool

Just download  and install it.Then format the card using this software

After the low level format, you may need to “Partition the drive“

• Run diskmgmt.msc in Run (win +r).
• In the disk management window, select the pen drive, right click on it and click on Format.
• 
• Now choose the File System and Allocation Unit Size and do not check the boxes below.
• Click OK and the drive will be reusable after this.

Method 3 :

Some times, memory card shows write protection error because of virus infections.Scan with a good,updated antivirus and disinfect the card.We have suggested some of the good antiviruses here.
